My golden/german shepherd has colitis...she started throwing

Customer Question

hi dr peter...my golden/german shepherd has colitis...she started throwing up yesterday (2 times, under control now) has had 2 bowel movements, one with mixed fecal matter along with flecks of bloody tissue, the next one just bright blood/mucus. her skin is red and hot, ears, stomach etc.... she is drinking a small amount of water and a handful of her RX food....it hasn't been 24 hrs yet since the episode happened. she also was in water in woods :~ and ingested some of it.
she is urinating and its just slightly yellow, not bad though. what do i look for today?
