Neurontin is commonly used in veterinary medicine and is under the name gabapentin. OK well here is the dose range if I miss you this evening:For treatment for seizures in dogs, gabapentin is started at 2.5 to 5 mg per pound (5 to 10 mg/kg) every 8 to 12 hours. For pain control, doses range from 1.5 to 5 mg per pound (1.25 to 2.5 mg/kg) every 12 hours.
