Polydipsia (increased thirst), anorexia, and vomiting at Z's age are danger signs for quite a few metabolic disorders. These include both hepatic and renal insufficiencies, urinary tract infection involving the kidneys, diabetes mellitus and Cushing's disease (both would cause polyphagia/increased hunger, as well, however), hyperthyroidism (again, polyphagia would be expected), electrolyte (calcium, sodium, potassium) imbalances, Addison's disease (rare), and diabetes insipidus (rare). I don't mean to give you an exhaustive list of all the possible etiologies but, instead, encourage you to have Clyde's vet perform a thorough physical exam including diagnostics in the form of blood and urine tests +/- X-rays or ultrasound predicated upon the findings in Clyde's physical exam and biochemical testing. I regret that I can't be more specific for you at this time. I, too, would need to examine and test Clyde.
