Thank you time, it is certainly appreciated. My 8 year old

Customer Question

Hello! Thank you for your time, it is certainly appreciated. My 8 year old Lhasa apso Bentley, I found hiding when I came home from work. He's weak, lethargic, vomiting bile, blood shot eyes, and has diarrhea. He is drinking water and his gums do not seem pale. His stool does not have any signs of blood. He does begin to pant when he wants to throw up.

I don't know if it's an upset tummy or something more serious.

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.
How long has he been vomiting? Just today?
What does the diarrhea look like?
Are his gums moist or sticky?
If you press on his belly, does he have any discomfort, tenderness, or tensing?
Could he have eaten something he should not have (ie bones, toys, rocks, plants, chemicals, etc)?

im assuming he's been vomiting for the last day or so.His diarrhea is brown with mucus.Gums are a combination of moist and sticky. When I press on his abdomen he lets out like a sigh of discomfort and tenses up.
He most definitely possibly have eaten something he found in the backyard.I've also noticed he starts panting when he lays on his side.Thank you so much for your time.

He seems to only want to sleep and move minimally. With the occasional drinks of water.
