Aloha! You're speaking to Dr. Michael Salkin
Is this the sugarless cinnamon gum? How much does Rebel weigh, please?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
He weighs about 65-70 lbs and yes sugarless gum
Expert:  Dr. Michael Salkin replied 1 year ago.

Thank you. We worry about the xylitol in that gum which can cause hypoglycemia and liver toxicity. Can you estimate how many sticks of gum were ingested?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
10 of the small pieces
Expert:  Dr. Michael Salkin replied 1 year ago.

Thank you. He ingested ~1700 mg of xylitol. A 65 lb dog would need to ingest at least 2555mg of xylitol for toxicity to arise. He might experience a bit of GI distress after eating such an unusual "food" but he won't be in danger.
