Hello, I am sorry to hear about this concern. Abdominal bloat is a serious concern. The appearance of a bloated belly could be caused by:1. http://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&S=0&C=0&A=672 (stomach bloat)2. http://www.petplace.com/dogs/gastric-dilatation-volvulus/page1.aspx (gastric dilatation volvulus, where the stomach twists on itself)3. [URL=http://www.petplace.com/dogs/ascites-in-dogs/page1.aspx (free fluid in the belly called ascites)4. Worms5. Organomegaly (Enlargement of the Spleen, Liver)6. Tumor in the abdomen Considering he doesn't want to eat, clearly is bloated, and not wanting to walk, I actually consider this well worth an emergency visit. Possible testing may include some abdominal x-rays to quickly rule-out some of the above concerns. Good Luck!Dr. Andy
