Can I give my 100 pound dog 1/2 to 1 mg of clonazepam? We are expected to have thunderstorms today and she is out of xanax.

Hi, I'm a licensed veterinarian and I'll be happy to help.For a 100 pound dog, the usual dose of Clonazepam would be around 5mg. I would not expect 1/2 to 1 mg to be a useful dose, but you can start there and work your way up if it is not helping.
