Holds nose up in air when he seems to be more uncomfortable. Still eating and drinking.

Aloha! You're speaking to Dr. Michael Salkin
I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. While pneumonia is certainly possible, I also would be concerned about congestive heart failure in a miniature dog such as Trooper. If you're seeing a respiratory rate greater than 40 breaths/minute at rest, his dyspnea (difficulty breathing) can be life-threatening and so driving to the nearest veterinary ER is indicated.
Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.

Hi De,
I'm just following up on our conversation about Trooper. How is everything going?

Sadly he passed Saturday afternoon. Vet said could be chf or he could have been hit to hard by my boxer.

My condolences for your loss of Trooper. I appreciate your taking the time to let me know. You may receive an inappropriate follow up sent by the site ostensibly sent by me. It wasn't and I apologize in advance should you receive it.
