My dog has a collapsed trachea and i give her 2.5 mg hydrocodone every 8-12 hours. Can i also give her an anti-inflammatory such as deramaxx or carprofen?

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your wee one’s situation, and wanted to help.
As long as the Hydrocodone doesn't contain any anti-inflammatories (some human preparations will also have acetaminophen in them), then you can use a dog safe anti-inflammatory like Carprofen or Deramaxx alongside it. Of course, as with any anti-inflammatory these should be given with or after food to avoid any GI upset.
I hope this information is helpful.
