We have an Australian Sheppard that's been throwing up mucus

Customer Question

We have an Australian Sheppard that's been throwing up mucus and foaming at the mouth for the past month and a half. Took her to the vet and they put her on benadryl, gave her a shot and sent her away. She's been taking phenobarbital for 1 year now for her seizers. She has to take it twice a day for the rest of her life. She is 18 months old. Now what do I do about this mucus problem? Please help me!

Hello, I am sorry to hear you are so worried about Abby Girl. I am a veterinarian, and will do my best to help. Do you know what was in the shot that she was given? Can she eat or drink at all?
