Hello, I am sorry to hear about Tonka having burned her feet. Was it an electrical burn, sunburn, heat burn? Is it one foot or all 4? How long ago did the burn happen? Are the feet blistered? I am a veterinarian, and will do my best to help. Some additional information will help me answer your question.

Pads are burned off

Happened last week; I am wanting to speed up her recovery.

I am sorry to hear that. Once the pads are burned, the only treatment is to treat for pain and infection, while the pads heal and regrow. You can't speed up the rate of healing and the pads grow very slowly. Is she getting pain medication? Burns are very painful, and we do know that pain can delay healing. Also, burns can get infected, so antibiotics or topical antibiotics ointment may help. If she were my dog, I would be applying Mupirocin topical antibiotic (prescription), but triple antibiotic or Neosporin would be good. The less she walks on the feet, the faster they will heal.

If she will allow it, booties may also help protect her feet and aid healing.

Is there anything else I can help with, or answer? Is this helpful?

Thank you so much for your help. I went & bought neosporin, putting the muzzle on my dog & placing the ointment on!!
