My little poodle is not eating her

Customer Question

my little poodle is not eating her food. I give her Iams dry food and Cesar wet food and she would clean her bowl. I adopted her about 2 months ago from our Humane Society. She is 5 years old. I'd appreciate your input. I was about to go to our local grocery store to pick up a roasted chicken to give her but I thought I'd better check in case it's not the best thing to do. I appreciate your advice. Thank you

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.
How long has she been off food?
Any vomiting, retching, gagging, lip licking or drooling?
Is she drinking and can she keep water down?
Are her gums pink or pale/white? Moist or sticky?
If you press on her belly, does she have any discomfort, tenderness, or tensing?
Could she have eaten something she should not have (ie bones, toys, rocks, plants, chemicals, etc)?
Has she had any diarrhea?

No I'm not trying to phone. Please reimburse me. I have a difficult time trying to understand how to use this site. I will take her to my regular vet. Thanks anyway. I apologise for your time being taken. I'm just worried about her. Thank you for trying.
