Customer Question

Hello! My dog has a stubborn swelling over his eyebrow. We have had it surgically opened up, cleaned, cultured and biopsied but there is nothing there.. just very inflamed.. also, 10 days of prednisone and oral antibiotics. Still no results. I'm thinking of trying benadryl. I live in northern California and there has been a drought and lots of dried up grasses and pollens. Any suggestions are welcomed. Thank you! Oh, he is turning 14 this summer. All blood work is normal.

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.
What did the biopsy result actually say?
Is it growing or just persisting?
What material came out of it when it was opened? (ie clear fluid, blood, pus, etc)?
Any chance he was exposed to a stinging insect?
Or bitten by a spider?
