I watched him try to vet up and kept falling . He never cried just looked perplexed. this was Saturday evening. He has not had a BM for three days. He got his shots for the usual
Rabies, distemper, and parvo on May 2015 from a vet. could this sound like a stroke? He has been very lathargic and not peppy. He eats his dogfood( very small amounts) What can be done for him? About how much would it cost. i'm a senior and not rich. Please help.

1- I am a bit confused of what is happening, can you describe what is happening with the falling and trembling?
2- Any vomiting, diarrhea or coughing?
3- Any pre existing medical conditions?

i.My dog just starts trembling like when they are frightened. Then when he goes to walk his legs keep collapsing under him. no barking or cries from him, just a bewildered staring.2. No, nothing.had no bowel movement in two days.3. No preexisting problems. A very snart dog.

added info. no collapsing since yesterday morning ( 6-21-15). Some trembling but only slight. very quiet, just lays around. Tries to sit up for a snack but falls sideways( he could sit up like gooffer for long periods before this happened.) He never leaves me. Goes where I go.

1- Does he have a head tilt?
2- To make sure I got this right, the falling right now is constant if he attempts to walk, correct? Or, does he walk completely normal and the falling is intermittently?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
1. No head tilt. 2. He never walks normal. He always walks as close to normal but with a slight tremble. He sometimes sits down and sways until he decides to lay down. As of today 6-22-15 he had a normal bowel movement in size ,yellowish in color. His walking is getting close to normal and the falling intermittently.

if he jumps up on couch then he seems like he can't stop. His body seems to keep going . Almost like he misjudges the distence.

Today is 06-23-15 and he is staying about the same. whether he is laying or sitting, he sways side to side, very slowly. he can't jump up on anything he used to. He tries but can't quite make it. He eats anddrinks. no vomiting, diarrhea, urinates. Has Bowel movements. If he wants treats he sits up on haunches and falls over( he never fell over before)he can walk.

i might have made a mistake. iI mean he has no vomiting or diarrhea but does urinate and has bowel movements. he seems to lay on side and stare but does respond if you call him.
