Customer Question

We are away from home, camping, and i just realized that my 90 lb dog may have eaten up to 4 glucosamine tablets with his dinner last night. ( I can't find them) He is a bit more quiet than usual, but he is alert and took a very nice long walk this morning. Should I be worried?

No, don't be alarmed. Glucosamine is considered nontoxic even when ingested in excess. It's often found in combination with chondroiton sulfate and that, too, is nontoxic to dogs. There's no reason to induce emesis or treat in any manner. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
