HELLO

Expert:  Dr. Michael Salkin replied 1 year ago.
Thank you! Carvedilol is a drug I might prescribe to dogs at a dose of up to 0.5 mg/lb or 2 mg for Murphy. 6.25 mg would be an overdose but likely to be well-tolerated unless Murphy suffered from a pre-existing heart condition. "Watchful waiting" is indicated. Although unlikely to develop, inappetence, lassitude or hypotension (low blood pressure) might transiently arise but is expected to abate unaided.
I would not induce emesis in Murphy. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.

Hi Arlene,

I'm just following up on our conversation about Murphy. How is everything going?
