Aloha! You're speaking to Dr. Michael Salkin
I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Unfortunately, there's no manner in which I can assess the extent of Ganesh's injuries from here. These patients need a hands-on exam by a vet and "whole-body" X-rays are often taken in an attempt to spot internal bleeding as well as fractures.
You can do two things that can be helpful. Check Ganesh's gum and tongue color. They should be nicely pink. If they're whitish or bluish-greyish instead, he has become anemic due to internal bleeding and/or he's "shocky" (if whitish) or he's experiencing respiratory compromise (bluish-greyish). You can assess his respiratory rate at rest. He should be breathing less than 40 times per minute. Any faster, and respiratory compromise and hypoxia (lack of oxygen to the tissues) is likely.
Most of these patients will benefit from an opiate analgesic prescribed by their vet. Aspirin dosed at 10 mg/lb can be administered in a pinch but does risk aggravating bleeding that may be occurring. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.

I'm just following up on our conversation about Ganesh. How is everything going?
