Hello, I'm Dr Gary. I've been practicing veterinary medicine since 2007. I look forward to helping with your questions/ concerns.
I'm sorry to hear about your dog. Once the contractions start, there should be a puppy out within 1-2 hours. If there is not, or if there is any bloody or green discharge, then I would worry that one is breached or stuck in the pelvic canal. This would require a c-section to get the puppies out.
It sounds like you're well past 2 hours, so I would just find an ER vet around and get her seen. They can do x-rays to see where the puppies are. They can also do ultrasound to determine the fetal heart rates to make sure the puppies are doing ok. It does sound like she's going to need a c-section, though.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
