Hello, I am sorry to hear about Max. I am a veterinarian, and will do my best to help. Did the veterinarian who diagnosed him with Wobblers disease make any recommendations what to do next?
Expert:  Rebecca replied 2 years ago.
Most dogs with Wobblers need to have surgery to correct the malformation that is causing the neurologic problems. Did your vet recommend surgery, or referral to a neurologist?
Expert:  Rebecca replied 2 years ago.
Usually it is recommended to treat dogs with Wobblers with steroids, like prednisone or dexamethasone. If the Deramaxx is not helping, I would consider trying steroids.

If he can't walk this morning, this may be an emergency. If this were my own dog, I would take him to a clinic, or better yet a neurology specialist, start steroids, and discuss if surgery may help him walk again.
