Hello,
I am sorry to hear you are worried about Dappy. I am a veterinarian, and will do my best to help.
Dachshunds as a breed can get a condition where the blood supply is reduced to the edges of their ears and their noses, and these areas can become dried out. It is not usually serious, if this is what is happening to her.
You can try applying moisturizers, or Vaseline to see if that helps.
Is there any color change in her nose, or is it just dry?
Let me know what else I can answer or help with.

Dappy s nose is dry, looks like cobblestone on the top of the snout, but the rest of the nose is fine.
No color change.
What say you?

It does sound like this condition we see in old Dachshunds, Pugs, and some other breeds, where there is a buildup of dry crust on the nose. This condition is harmless, but looks funny. It usually does not bother the dog. Using moisturizers or Vaseline can be helpful.
