Ello! My Boston terrier

Customer Question

Hello! My Boston terrier ate a cutting of lantana that I had planted in a pot. I caught her and she quickly stopped. After coming inside, she vomited a few times and I could see the leaves she had ingested. Today she went on a day trip with us and she seemed fine and very happy. She had a very dark loose stool today but she ate normally. Tonight she began vomiting again at an alarming rate and I heard her just a few minutes ago and she had had diarrhea in my kitchen that she couldn't hold in. Poor thing, what can I do to help her?

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.
What is she bringing up in her vomit at this point?
How often is she vomiting?
Can she keep water down?
Are her gums nice and pink (not white/pale)? Moist or sticky?
If you press on her belly, does she have any tensing, tenderness, discomfort, or pain?
How much Pepto did you give?
How much does she weigh?

Hi Steffanie,
I am glad to hear that she is well and is on the mend. Since we didn't get to chat about her situation, I will refer you back to customer service for a refund.
Take care,
