Hello. It sounds like this is an allergic reaction- these are often due to insect bites/ stings, food allergies or environmental allergies. We'll often see facial swelling and hives. We can also see vomiting/ diarrhea. What you can do to manage this as home is give Benadryl at 1-2 mg per lb every 6-8 hours. It usually takes 12-24 hours for signs to fully resolve. If any airway swelling or labored breathing, then you should get to an ER vet for injectable meds. I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
i think she hurt her self on the fience tring to get out not sure if she got hung up on it or not it was dark so not really sure what happened
Ok. If you think it's trauma related, then you can give Aspirin. The dose is 5 mg per lb every 12-24 hours as needed. With the muzzle and eye swelling, it sure does sound more like an allergic reaction than anything traumatic.
