Welcome to JustAnswer! I am a licensed veterinarian and specialist and will do my best to assist you today! When a dog of this age is eating well, drinking more than normal, and at times vomiting, the concern is that this is not just age, rather there are a select few causes which can easily explain this.Weight: normal;font-style: normal;font-variant: normal;text-decoration: none;">Common causes in a middle aged to older dog include:- Diabetes- Kidney disease- Cushings Disease Notably explaining the drinking more than normal, eating well, BUT losing weight.Often aside from a good examination - bloodworkand a urine evaluationare performed as that alone would determine if one of the common causes above is the reason that Rosie is not feeling well.Hope that helps and answers all your questions! Before rating - Please REPLY at any time if more information is needed and I would be glad to reply back and help!Positive RATING (EXCITED FACE or 5 STARS) and bonus is appreciated as this is the way the professional receives credit for their time.
