My puppy is now a 9 month old Malinois. She has a big itching

Resolved Question:

My puppy is now a 9 month old Malinois. She has a big itching problem. We have gotten rid of the fleas but she is still itching a lot. I suspect an allergic reaction. Can i use n anti-histime such as Zirtek or would that be harmful. She weighs 17 kg (38 pounds). I live in Azerbaijan and the vets are idiots with poor training so i don't go to them.

Zyrtec is considered safe for use in dogs, at a dose of 5 mg every 12 to 24 hours. its effectiveness will likely be increased if a fish oil supplement (3000-5000 mg daily) is also given. It may take several weeks for improvement to be noticed.
