My dog hasn't pooped in almost 2 days. He's not straining or scooting. He's actually making no attempt at all to poop. Should I be concerned? He's acting normally. He's a 10 year old Australian Cattle Dog Mix.

Hi
If he is alert and acting normally as you say and eating and drinking normally I would not be too concerned, but observe carefully when he goes out. Certainly if he becomes painful, lethargic and or vomiting get to your veterinarian for a good thorough exam and medical workup. You could add pumpkin pie filling (unseasoned ) at 2-3 TBS two times daily or more to his food. It will provide excellent hi quality fiber to his diet and help move things through.
