I have a large 75lb mix who we have given 25mg of Acepromazine

Resolved Question:

I have a large 75lb mix who we have given 25mg of Acepromazine to about an hour ago for the excessive fireworks in my neighborhood. She is still shaking and panting excessively. Is it possible to give her two sprays of Rescue Remedy as well or would this just put her over the top?

Hi. Rescue remedy would be fine to give. The acepromazine dosage that you gave is a low dose for her weight. There should be no adverse reactions by giving the rescue remedy along with the acepromazine. Have a great 4th of July!
