Dr. Loretta :

Good Morning and welcome to Just answer. I am Dr. Loretta, a licensed veterinarian and I am happy to answer your question.

Dr. Loretta :

It appears to me that Shelby is suffering from an allergic reaction probably to the fleas. the best thing to do for Shelby is to give her Benadryl at 1 mg per pound every 12 hrs This will ease her discomfort. When she is feeling better and more comfortable, then she will get back to her old self. If this is not enough, your vet has stronger medications to help Shelby past this....does that make sense to you?

ok thank you

Dr. Loretta :

Good for you! I really think Shelby will feel a lot better with this over the counter medication.
