Hello.

This is a common side effect of steroids. They cause increased thirst/ urination, increased appetite, panting and a pot-bellied look.

The signs can last for 3-4 months with Depo Medrol. This is a very long acting steroid. I would expect them to resolve within 2-4 weeks, but just be aware that it can last months.

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Susan,

I'm just following up on our conversation about Tisha. How is everything going?

Dr. Gary

Customer replied 272 days and 21 hours ago.

Do I still control her feeding or give her extra food? It is hard to refuse her more poor thing.

No, I would just continue to feed normally. If you give more, then you're going to make her gain Weight.

Customer replied 272 days and 11 hours ago.

Thank you for your reply I will keep an eye on her feeding.
