My dog is laying in the bushes and won't move. He won't eat or drink either. When I go out and call him, he just looks at me and does nothing. He is breathing heavy, short breaths. What should I do?

Hello. Can you take a look at his gums- are they pink, pale or blue? Is he vomiting or retching at all? Is his abdomen distended or is he acting painful?
Thanks for the response. Sadly, Alex is gone now. Things got worse after I sent in the request and I took him to the emergency room. He wasn't breathing when we got there. Doctors said it was most likely a heart attack considering he was perfectly fine yesterday.
