I have a female black lab 8yrs. old her right eye lid is dropping alot. This started 2 days agoand I am getting very concerned. We are on vacation and 500 miles from her Dr.. What would cause this and what can I do to help her

Are the pupils equal size?
Can you see the eylid in the corner of the eyes? Are these the same in both eyes?
Is one side of the face warmer than the other?

her left side seems to be warmer
Ok well this could be a case of horners disease. Let me share a link with more information for you.

This should give you the basics on treatment and causes.
Other things that could cause this problem would include a problem with the eye or its muscles so a full physical exam is the ideal, especially to rule out a foreign object trapped in the eye.
