Welcome to JustAnswer! I am a licensed veterinarian and would be glad to help!
What color is the crust?
Are the eyes runny?
Are the eyes red?
There black/brown like usual but they seen to be around the eye not just in the corner. Her eyes don't seem runny at the moment and they're not red.
Here are some thoughts.
Based on your history, one possible cause is a mild conjunctivitisOptions for at home care include:- Warm compress the eye with a clean, damp, warm cloth. This will help with inflammation in the area.- The second consideration is to try to flush the eye with a sterile saline solution. I am referring to a normal, over the counter saline solution commonly found in the same aisle of the grocery stor or drugstore as contact solution. (EXAMPLE HERE).If the signs do not improve - topical antibiotics would be considered A common example is NeoPolyGram (EXAMPLE HERE)I hope this helps! If you have any follow-up questions - please do not hesitate to ask!Otherwise - please remember to click ACCEPT.
