my dog (80lb) american staffordshire bull terrier mix received a bordetella shot on May, 11, 2012 in am. Today, i tried to hike with him on a dirt path about 2:30p.m. Temp about 80 degrees. After ten minutes he began to sti down almost involentarily and was hyperventilating a little bit. he also did not want to jump over a small gate this morning. Is this typical re soreness from shot?
Optional Information: Type of Animal: Dog Gender: Male Age: 15 months Name of Animal: Buster Already Tried: I just took him home and tried to examine him (paws) (belly) Back) for any soreness bu there is not.

Hello
No, it is not. That vaccine, in particular, is one of the most benign, and most dogs (not to mention a 80 pounder) wouldn't have any pain at all 2 days later.
So, I do not believe any of the symptoms you are observing are related to the vaccine.
