CriticalCareVet :

Welcome to JustAnswer! I am a licensed veterinarian and would be glad to help!

CriticalCareVet :

Triflexis contains spinosad and milbemycin.

Spinosad can cause a digestive disturbance in regards XX X reaction.

Rarely we can see neurological problems in dogs given milbemycin, but that would be uncommon.

CriticalCareVet :

There is no specific therapy for a reaction, rather supportive care if needed for a digestive disturbance.

Customer :

She did vomit a bit earlier, didn't think much about it at the time. If her tummy was empty could it have affected her? Also it has been about 8 hrs. since she had the Triflexis.

CriticalCareVet :

Yes - it is possible and a bland diet would be considered - boneless/skinless chicken and white rice for example.

CriticalCareVet :

Otherwise, it is quite rare that a Triflexis reaction is severe enough to be life threatening and mostly self-limiting, meaning resolving with supportive care over time.

Customer :

Ok, I'll just keep watching her and see if she is interested in the chicken and rice. It is just so unlike her to be laying around. She is a super active girl. Thank you so much for the reassurance. What a great service for on weekends. Jean
