Hello.

No, we don't give Tylenol to dogs as it can be toxic to the liver at fairly low doses.

Instead, we use a combination of an anti-inflammatory (Rimadyl or Deramaxx) or a steroid (Prednisone) + an opiate (Tramadol). This combination works well for any pain.

With the lung cancer diagnosis, I'd go with Pred over Rimadyl as it can help slow the spread of cancer while providing anti-inflammatory properties. It also helps to increase the appetite as that can be a problem in cancer dogs.
