Hello.

The diarrhea could be due to one of many things:
1. Stress
2. Dietary indiscretion
3. Infection (virus/ bacteria)
4. HGE (hemorrhagic gastroenteritis)

It does sound like the diarrhea is from dietary indiscretion from the chicken and beef.

One thing you can do is add a little canned pumpkin (1 teaspoon 2-3 times daily) to the diet. The extra fiber helps to firm up the stool and promote normal colon motility. You could also give some Yogurt with Acidophilus to give some good bacteria back to the GI tract.

If the diarrhea looks like red water or jelly then I would worry about HGE which requires in hospital treatment. They also usually have vomiting and decreased appetite with HGE.

If signs do not resolve in 2-3 days or if signs progress then I'd get the dog seen and started on meds (Metronidazole most commonly).

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
