One of my dogs dew claws has grown back into the skin and I cannot feel the end of it. What should I do?
Hello!

Thanks for using JustAnswer.com, I'm Dr. Dan and I'll try to help you.

What you should do is take a nail clippers that has jaws like this one:http://www.petco.com/product/115025/ConairPro-Yellow-Dog-Soft-Grip-Dog-Nail-Clippers.aspx?CoreCat=LookAhead

Then clip in about half way around the circle the lower portion of the nail that is embedded should fall out. If she is too wiggly then a vet office or groomer can help you on Monday. As long as there is no redness, oozing or foul smell it is not an emergency.

I hope this helps, best wishes.
