Do you mean Special K the cereal?
It is hard to give a healthy animal too much potassium orally. Dogs with a normal gastrointestinal tract and healthy kidneys will get rid of any excess potassium from their diets.
this is for a pomeranian
yes she is a healthly dog
Supplements for potassium could be a problem, but foods don't generally cause a problem.
just a little like 1/8 cup a day
Having said that, Special K isn't a good diet for a dog and giving Special K to a dog won't likely cause it to lose weight.
A little bit given as a treat is fine, but if you want your dog to lose weight it is best to start with a reduced calorie food and stay away from treats.
i need something to feed the dog beside just the dog food (1/2 cup a day
Baby carrots are a good treat and so are canned low-sodium green beans
i want to swap treats for cereal
If your dog like the Special K it isn't going to hurt her
does not like carrots or beans
You can use it for a treat.

You can pull some kibbles from her feedings and give them throughout the day like a treat. The Tiny marshmallows aren't bad either, but use them sparingly.
