Hello, I am Dr. Peter a licensed Veterinarian. I would like to help. I need to ask you a few questions to be well informed and give you the best advise. There is no additional charge for information request.

1- Does it have a discharge or foul odor?

Customer replied 864 days and 2 hours ago.

No it does not.

If the ear is inflamed (red), this is usually the first indication of an ear infection. What you can do is mix a cup of half alcohol and half white vinegar. Use this mixture to clean the ears instead of olive oil. Dry the ear and apply a topical antibiotic like neosporin or bacitracin. If no improvement in 3-5 days, have your vet take a look at the ear.

If you have additional questions I will be glad to answer them.

I don't have any medicinal alcohol in the house. I've got gin and vodka. Would that work. If not I'll try and borrow some from the neighbors. Thanks.
