Dr. Lee :

Hi. I'm Dr. Lee and will do my best to help.

Dr. Lee :

Did the dog ingest the gel itself or with the packaging?

JACUSTOMER-e43ovr8t- :

The gel

Dr. Lee :

And how long ago did the dog ingest it?

JACUSTOMER-e43ovr8t- :

Sometime between 7 and 11:30 this morning

Dr. Lee :

Also, how much does the dog weight?

JACUSTOMER-e43ovr8t- :

13 lbs

JACUSTOMER-e43ovr8t- :

24 weeks old

Dr. Lee :

Thanks for the info.

Dr. Lee :

I would suggest to try giving 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide by mouth in an attempt to make the dog vomit.

Dr. Lee :

Hoping that the gel can come back up.

Dr. Lee :

However, since we don't know exactly how long ago this happen, the gel might have gone through the system already.

Dr. Lee :

How is the dog doing now?

Dr. Lee :

Any lethargy?

Dr. Lee :

Vomiting?

JACUSTOMER-e43ovr8t- :

normal

Dr. Lee :

Good.

Dr. Lee :

Try using hydrogen peroxide once, and see if the dog will vomit.

Dr. Lee :

If not, then simply wait and see.

Dr. Lee :

Allow free access to water.

Dr. Lee :

And treat the dog normally.

JACUSTOMER-e43ovr8t- :

just one Tbl spoom? or should it be repeated at all?

Dr. Lee :

If the dog becomes lethargic, not drinking, not eating, for more than 24 hours, then your daughter will have to take the dog to the ER.

Dr. Lee :

Just one tablespoon. Do not repeat it.

JACUSTOMER-e43ovr8t- :

Thank You so much!!

Dr. Lee :

You're welcomed.

Dr. Lee :

Do you have any other questions or concerns?

JACUSTOMER-e43ovr8t- :
