Hello,

I am sorry to hear about this concern.

It could suggest a seizure-like episode, but I can't rule-out other systemic (internal) issues like electrolyte imbalances, an abdominal problem, or pain related.

If you are actively seeing twitching now, I would record it (on a camcorder or phone) and get her into an ER vet for an assessment this evening.

Even if it subsides in the next few minutes, I would absolutely bring her to an ER vet for an evaluation. I would expect a basic blood profile to be recommended by the vet.

Good Luck

Dr. Andy
