Hi there!

There are several possibilities of what could be causing your dog not to eat and to appear weak:

  1. Upset stomach/gastroenteritis - usually after eating something she shouldn't have
  2. infection (bacterial or viral) - may have a fever
  3. Intestinal obstruction - usually also have vomiting +/- diarrhea or straining to defecate, abdominal pain/discomfort
  4. Pancreatitis - same signs as above
  5. liver issues, etc - may be accompanied by vomiting, diarrhea, yellow gums, etc
  6. kidney issues - may be accompanied by vomiting, inappropriate or lack of urination
  7. heart disease - may seen weak, out of breathing, have a fast respiratory rate or increased effort
  8. spinal pain- may vocalize, seem drunk when walking or be dragging her feet/legs

The weakness concerns me since that is not a normal sign of depression and usually indicates that something more serious is going on.

Therefore, I would strongly urge you to take her to your veterinarian IMMEDIATELY for evaluation. Bloodwork and xrays will most likely be recommended and hopefully your veterinarian will be able to figure out what's wrong based on her physical exam and test results.

I hope this helps!
