These bowel movement sound more like intestinal parasites. With parvo there is severe bloody diarrhea, vomiting and the dog is very depressed or lethargic. I will recommend that you get him dewormed; use a dewormer called Fenbendazole give it for 3 days at label dose and repeat after 3 weeks and 3 months. Could buy online, pet store or vets office. In the meantime, change diet to rice (75%) and chicken (25%) and give 1 teaspoon of plain yogurt twice a day.

If stool gets worst and no improvement have him checked by your vet.

If you have additional questions I will be glad to answer them.

these symptoms just started today could it lead to parvo?

Parvo is a virus, once the dog has it, the symptoms are immediate and consistent. Highly unlikely this is a case of parvo virus.
