I have a miniature Schnauzer who is prone to bladder stones.She is having problems now, and is on antibiotics. I worry that snacks we give herare irritating the problem. She loves peanuts, and all nuts. Are these a no no?

Hello there, All nuts are bad for dogs. They contain a high amount of phosphorus and predispose the dog to bladder stones. Peanuts are not toxic to dogs, but most others are. If the dog has a problem with struvite stones, the nuts should be eliminated from the diet.
