nausea - what can I give my dog to calm his upset stomach?
Hello there,

Is the dog able to drink and keep water down?

Any diarrhea?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
He is able to keep water down and has no diarrhea. He is also lethargic and slow in moving around.
Pepcid AC can be used at 5 mg per 20 pounds body weight every 24 hours. Pepto Bismal can be used at 1 tablespoon per 20 pounds body weight every 8 hours as needed to coat the stomach. A bland diet of boiled chicken and rice, no bones, can be offered in small frequent meals. In a dog this age there could many serious things going on. If the dog does not perk up quickly he should be examined by your vet.
