Hi, I am Dr. Peter and would like to help.
1- Where exactly is the bump? On the elbow (first joing below the shoulder), carpus (next joint below the elbow) or in the digits?
2- How long has it been there?
It is located on the elbow, first joint below the shoulder. It has only been there 3 weeks
Does it feel like full with liquid?
Nonpainful?
Is it one or both elbow?
Is it movable?
Yes it does feel like it has liquid, she moves very freely like no pain, also no pain when i touch it.
Only in one elbow
It sounds like she has a "Hygroma." Which occurs secondary to chronic trauma to the elbow joint; usually as a result of laying on a hard surface. The best treatment is to place pads, if you follow the link below you will see pads that can be used to protect the elbow joint so it can heal; or have your vet teach how to place bandages. Also, change to a soft bedding. The pads should be used for at least 4-6 weeks for regression to occur.
