dog ate silica packet from beef jerky?
Hello there,

How long ago was it ingested?

What does the dog weigh?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
within the last hour. The dog is a Dalmation weighing about 45 lbs. She ate 1lbs of jerky with the packet.
The jerky is more of a threat than the silica in a dog this size. The silica will not hurt a dog this size. The salt in the jerky may cause bad diarrhea. If this occurs, Pepto Bismal can be used at 1 tablespoon per 20 pounds body weight every 8 hours as needed.
