Short answer . . .Probably not. Properly cooked salmon or shrimp in small quantities should not cause problems, but I would not recommed this as the primary food source for a dog.

If the salmon or shrimp are cooked in a lot of fat there could be problems with your dog's pancreas. Onions can be toxic to dogs so if the meat was cooked with onions there could be a problem. If your dog eats too much of the shrimp or salmon he may become bloated, but this is a risk with any food, not just this type of protein. Some dogs may have a food allergy to this type of protein, but the effects are usually not immediately life-threatening. Diarrhea, vomiting and itchy skin are common signs associated with food allergies in dogs.
