Hello there,

How large is the dog?

How old?

How much vomiting?

Is she keeping water down?

She is no longer vomiting, just eating grass. She doesn't want to drink water.

If the tongue is swollen or inflamed, you are going to need meds from your vet. Toxic caterpillars can burn the tongue and esophagus. Serious damage can occur. Don't let her eat the grass, it will make her vomit more. I would have the dog examined tonight if possible. She probably should have a stomach protectant at least. The vomiting and not drinking will lead to dehydration. Tongue necrosis occurs in severe cases.
