Hi thereCustomer

Thank you for your question regarding your dog and the white worms in his feces! These are most likely round worms, but could potentially also be hookworms. Tape worms generally do not come out in one piece and wouldn't resemble spaghetti. It is great to hear he is otherwise fine and that you have put him on Interceptor. This should definitely be doing the trick for this boy for with regards XXXXX XXXXX worms as it covers roundworms, hookworms and whipworms. It could well be that this is now taking affect pushing all of these worms out, but I do think it would be wise to treat this boy for intestinal worms in the next few days just to be sure. Don't give any more Interceptor until he is next due, but you can give this boy a Drontal Allwormer tablet (available from you local Pet store or Vet clinic). This will cover him for tapeworm (Interceptor doesn't cover this one) as well as re-do him for the other three types or intestinal worm. This pill will not interfer with his heartworm treatment protocol and do not change this - just continue giving Interceptor as you have been. This is just a one off dose of intestinal all-wormer to cover him.

Best of luck and I hope this has been helpful. Also be sure to get the correct sized drontal worming tablet for this boy.
