What do I do if my dog eats fox tails? He ate some foxtails (the tall grass) and will not stop vomiting.

Hi there! From what I can gather from the poison plants section, these are not very toxic but can cause a severe digestive disturbance or, if he ate a lot, an intestinal obstruction. The fact that he cannot stop vomitting tells me this is very serious and you will need to seek veterinary attention immediately. This could be chemical burns from the plant or an obstruction and both of these cannot be handled at home. Your vet will need to determine what is causing this digestive issue and treat it accordingly. I really wish I could give you a better answer but there just isn't one until we know what is causing the vomitting.

Keep him out of the cattails or cut them down so this dos not happen again.
